TURKISH MINING DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

Mining Development Foundation of Turkey organises national and international congresses, symposium, seminars and technical trips with respect to develop mining and mineral processing in Turkey. In this connection, the foundation organises to realise publications, technical and scientific researches and contributes all these activities. Foundation also gives financial support to university members, engineers, technical elements, students and other personnel in their research and education. Foundation also gives support to the organisations related to evaluation and exploration of natural resources of Turkey.

Foundation was established on 14’Th February 1986 in Istanbul.
Foundation tries to develop strategies and plans in co-operation with other organisation with respect to development of mining in Turkey.

The main target of the Foundation is to clarify public opinion including the administrators in the subject of mining. In addition, it tries to realise production of raw materials for energy, industry and agriculture sectors and to contribute to the Turkish economy for the realisation of high valued products.
